I have always loved animals and had many pets growing up. I even learned how to swim from a German Shepherd. (The doggy paddle of course!) I always knew that I would work with animals when it came time to choose a career path for myself.

During high school and college, I worked as an animal care specialist at a prestigious animal hospital in Boca Raton, Florida. I was fortunate to assist the veterinarians and learn about the importance of proper pet care. Shortly thereafter, I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a double major in Marketing and Management. I pursued a business degree because I always knew that I wanted to run my own business. But even the thought of sitting in an office in front of a computer put me to sleep! I stumbled upon mobile grooming and found that it fit my aspirations as well as my passion for animals. So, shortly after college graduation, I enrolled in pet grooming school.

I attended Pet's Playground Grooming School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and studied very closely under the head grooming instructor. She was a veteran groomer who spent countless hours teaching me and nurturing my grooming skills. I am proud to say that I graduated at the top of the class! Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with very talented professionals who have helped me further my career and have pushed me to be the best.

I am a registered member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America (NDGAA). I attend their seminars and tradeshows to stay informed about the newest products and services in the pet care industry. I am also a member of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and have adopted and rescued many animals.
